1. Place header yarns at start to straighten out the warp yarns.
2. Batten header yarns with the reed until warp starts to spread out.
3. Pass the fill yarn on the shuttle back and forth through the shed, the space in between warp yarns determined by how the heddles are tied to the three harnesses. After each pass (also known as pick), batten the filling yarn down onto the fell (the rest of the material).
4. After each batten, release the current harness and raise the next before putting the shuttle through the shed.
5. You can see some runs right in the beginning where some of the warp yarns broke, making an irregular pattern. These warp yarns were replaced by pinning a new yarn to the front of the fabric, threading it through the reed and the correct heddle, and then weighting it down in the back.
