Labor

Poorly regulated and equipped denim factories impose poor working conditions and the health hazards to workers on a daily basis. There has been a proven link between textile workers and certain cancers related to the harmful dyestuffs and processing chemicals they are exposed to. And without stringent working standards, workers often endure violations such as excessive working hours and overtime, few rest periods and little or no training or protective gear.

What is SOURCE Denim doing?

SOURCE Denim jeans are manufactured at a family-owned cut-and-sew operation in the United States. Our factories must pass inspections and are certified to meet stringent labor standards. Because we have eliminated many chemicals in the production process, and have removed completely the stonewashing and finishing part of the denim process, our workers are not exposed to the toxic chemicals found in conventional denim supply chains.
